Even Rosso, in all her slaughtering glory, did not always have a penchant for killing all things that retained a pulse. She had a pet for some time – an escaped mutant lab rat, to be exact – and cared for it dearly until the fateful eve arrived where she determined it would be more pleasant to smother it as opposed to feed it.

Shelke’s nose scrunches up as she tries to recall what a mascot is. Surprisingly, she is able to conjure up this recollection and simply replies, “Fluffy.”
“Fluffy? Who the hell if Fluffy?”
“Rosso’s decapitated lab rat.”
“…She named it Fluffy?”
“I did not ask.”

More fanart for the epic and hilarious Memoires. I have several pieces in the works, but not being up to tackling a whole comic with the amount of revision I have to do, I have to settle for producing single-panel gags. This one slapped me as soon as Rosso's escaped mutant pet lab rat was named.
If you haven't done so already, I urge you to go read the fic. Just make sure you're not drinking anything unless your monitor needs a good cleaning.

Your shading skills are unmatchable, as are your bold brush strokes, and the power of contrast you thus utilized in this piece if by far one of the most eye catching things I've seen this week.
