Primarily this entry is so that I can place the icon of the club I just joined down at the bottom, but hey, why make this a totally useless entry? I might as well write a proper introduction for myself, in case anyone would like to be friends. *cough*hinthint*cough*

I am a teenage female from Down Under, currently living in a place that has a wonderful climate but very few like-minded people. Thus, my social life is online, where I can find people willing to discuss characterization and plot of various shows/books/games that I enjoy. I also have a knack for combining those categories (and other things) in order to create truly bizarre ideas, eg. Deepground (FFVII: Dirge of Ceberus) + Dilbert. Think about it.

I listen to a lot of music. I think I'm pretty open-minded in terms of what's good and what's not, and I'll try anything at least once. However, I'm opposed on principal to any song that includes scantily-glad dancing girls in its video. I much prefer a story-based video (i.e. 'Love Like Winter' by AFI, 'Bad Day' by Daniel Powter).

I'm a voracious reader, as my name suggests. Fantasy is my usual genre of choice, but I'm also fond of science fiction and even the occasional young adult novel. I'd give some recommendations, but I'd probably give anyone reading this eyestrain, because I can recommend a LOT. However, I will say that 'Stargirl', by Jerry Spinelli, is one book that deserves to become a classic.

As far as games go, I'm big on the Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank series'. They were some of the first games I played, and I can play them over and over again. More recently, I got into Kingdom Hearts and its sequel, and from there into the Final Fantasy series. I also like Lego Star Wars for its sheer awesomeness.

Shows. Lessee. Well, I'm very much into Yu-Gi-Oh! (I've been re-watching on Youtube), and that gives me four of my favourite characters: Alister, Valon, Raphael and Bakura. I also love Digimon (*makes mental note to re-watch it at the next opportunity*), the more recent series' of Doctor Who, and, of course, the Simpsons. I don't really spend a lot of time watching TV.
